MIDIEVAL MEDINAS

School students will arrive in Morocco and embark on a journey through the country’s ancient medinas. This program offers deep insight into Moroccan life in historic cities such as Fes, Marrakech, and Essaouira. Students will explore the rich history of these cities, learning about the traditional layout of medinas, the distinctive architecture of iconic monuments, and the cultural significance of these urban spaces.They will also have the opportunity to visit Moroccan families and share authentic, intimate moments with their hosts, gaining a firsthand understanding of daily life and local customs. To enrich their experience, guest lecturers will be invited to speak on various topics, including Moroccan music, art, and religion—providing a comprehensive cultural and educational immersion.
